KarmaKarma Chocolate Overnight Oats with Beetroot

Surprise yourself with a fresh flavor palette and a whole new breakfast experience. For us, it was a discovery to combine raw beets with KarmaKarma Chocolate & Cranberries. ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

Red beet is very rich in essential nutrients like iron, fiber, and vitamin C. It has various health benefits: it improves blood circulation, lowers blood pressure, and enhances oxygen levels in the body. No wonder many athletes swear by red beet to boost their performance.
This is an overnight oats recipe: You prepare it by letting your KarmaKarma oat mix 'soak' in milk overnight. The next day, you can enjoy a fresh bowl of soft oatmeal. We are big fans of this method of making oats because itโ€™s so simple, takes almost no time in the morning, and results in a wonderfully creamy texture.

 

 Ingredients ( for 2 people ๐Ÿ‘ซ)

โœ”๏ธ 80gr KarmaKarma Chocolate & Cranberries oats
โœ”๏ธ 1 raw beetroot 
โœ”๏ธ 100ml almond milk 
โœ”๏ธ 100gr Greek yogurt (or almond yogurt for a vegan option)
โœ”๏ธ 2 tablespoons chia seeds
โœ”๏ธ toppings: blueberries, banana, cinnamon or almond butter

 

HOW TO

The evening before 
Peel the raw beet and cut it in small pieces.
Mix the beet with 50gr KarmaKarma Oats, 2 tablespoons of chia seeds, almond milk and yogurt. Use your food processor or blender.
Pour into a bowl or jar, cover and store in your fridge till overnight
In the morning ๐ŸŒ…Add a few more toppings: 30gr KarmaKarma oats, blueberries or banana, cinnamon, or extra yogurt so you can experiment with layers.
